Kathy Albarado is CEO of Helios HR, an award-winning HR outsourcing, consulting and recruiting firm based in Reston, VA. As CEO of Helios HR, she leads an organization committed to helping its clients leverage its practices and workforce in transitioning to its next stage of growth. She is co-author of the “Guide to HR Administration” published by the national firm, Thompson Publishing.
Kathy has been quoted for her subject matter expertise in the Washington Business Journal, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and Compliance Magazine. SmartCEO Magazine named Kathy a Bravo Award Winner in 2008 and a Choice Awards Winner in 2009. In 2006, she was awarded the HR Leadership Award for Corporate Responsibility. In 2007, she was named a “Woman Who Means Business” by the Washington Business Journal as a woman who has blazed a trail, is making an impact in the community and is leaving a mark on Washington business.
