Doug founded DCA Live in 2014 and over his nearly 30 year career has produced hundreds of live events that have convened thousands of leaders from real estate, tech and venture capital, private equity, among others. Before DCA Live, he was the President of Bisnow Media where he created a number of enduring commercial real estate conferences and helped lead the company to a successful exit. Doug has also held senior leadership positions at Bloomberg BNA, Kennedy Information and AOL. Earlier in his career he produced a weekly television series and a number of PBS documentaries. Doug is a 4-time Washingtonian Tech Titan. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and has an MBA from Dartmouth.

Ellen brings more than 30 years of business development experience in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, having worked at leading CPA and advisory firms, including Deloitte, PwC, CohnReznick, and Grant Thornton. Throughout her career, she has cultivated an extensive network of senior executives across the technology sector and the investment community, building trusted relationships that have fueled strategic growth and business opportunities.

She earned a Bachelor's degree in English from the College of Wooster, where she played field hockey and co-founded a sorority that continues to thrive today. Ellen also has a Masters in Marketing from Johns Hopkins.  

Ellen and her husband, Greg, have two kids, Tait and Lucia.  They live in Bethesda with King Louie, their Great Pyrenees!

Tenny formed Prospero Field Advisory LLC, a strategic consulting, advisory, and investment firm, in January 2025. As an extension to these activities, he has partnered with DCA Live since early 2026 to assist in the activation of new markets, primarily in Greenwich, CT, New York, NY and Boston, MA. Previously, Tenny served for 18 years as an integral team member of Sawaya Partners LLC, a Consumer-focused M&A advisory firm, which was sold to Canaccord Genuity in late 2021. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles in Corporate Development with RPM International and in investment banking with JPMorgan Chase Securities. Tenny graduated with a BA in Economics & French from Vanderbilt University in 1995 and completed an Executive MBA at Columbia University in 2002. He currently resides in Old Greenwich, CT with his wife and three children, but his upbringing in New Hampshire underpins an unwavering loyalty to all Boston sports teams!

Sue is DCA Live’s Senior Vice President of Community, where she brings together business leaders for peer-level conversations on the challenges they face and the market trends shaping their industries. Previously, she co-founded Ceres Talent, a marketing and communications search firm that successfully exited in 2022. Sue began her career as an auditor with Deloitte before transitioning into marketing leadership roles with several technology and telecom companies. She serves on the Advisory Board of New Dominion Angels, the Leadership Board of NVTC’s Marketing & Growth COI, the board of the Technology Marketing Alliance, the Advisory Board of TreeFork Strategies, and as Treasurer of Aspire Afterschool Learning. She holds dual degrees in Accounting and French from James Madison University and is a recovering CPA.

She is the Founder of VGT People Advisory, where she partners with executives, founders, and organizations to develop leaders, navigate change, and build high-performing teams. With more than 20 years of experience across Fortune 500 companies and high-growth organizations, she specializes in executive coaching, leadership development, and organizational transformation.
