This fall DCA Live is recognizing some of the great rising stars in the region’s robust and growing government contracting industry.  Over the past several decades, this space has spawned many of the area’s great companies and business executives and will soon be lead by a new generation.  You will want to get to know these emerging leaders from executive leadership, finance, technology, sales and marketing, and other areas.   We’ll profile this group in the coming weeks and recognize them at a special virtual awards program in October.  

For the 5th consecutive year, DCA Live and our partners are excited to announce the Red Hot Companies list, the Washington region's fastest growing and most exciting companies.  We’ll be profiling these companies over the coming months and celebrate with them when we can safely convene.  

DCA Live is pleased to announce our list of Rising Stars of Commercial Real Estate. This is the 5th consecutive year we have recognized the next generation of leaders in the Washington DC region’s finance, development, brokerage, asset management, and architecture. We’ll profile this amazing group in the coming days and weeks and honor them at a special virtual event on Wednesday, December 12.

Despite the pandemic, tech companies based in the DC region and beyond are hotter than ever. Venture investment is pouring in to new enterprises and valuations are sky high. Dozens of area companies have recently announced fresh capital raised and plans for aggressive hiring and growth in the coming months. It’s an exciting time for the region!

For the 6th consecutive year, DCA Live and our partners are excited to recognize the 2021 Red Hot Companies, the Washington region's fastest growing and most exciting companies. We’ll be profiling these companies over the coming months and will celebrate with them with a lively, fun outdoors event on the evening of Wednesday, July 21. Join us to meet the leaders of these great companies and our community of investors, connectors and advisors to DC Tech and enjoy great food, drink and great networking at what will be our first in-person event in 16 months. For the 7th consecutive year, DCA Live is pleased to honor a group of DC-area Non Profit CFOs who have made extraordinary contributions to the growth and health of their organizations over the past 12 months in this challenging economic environment.  This group was nominated by their peers in non profit finance and selected for their excellence and leadership.

The broader markets have cooled and the capital flows have slowed but dozens of DC technology ventures remain Red Hot. DC area companies in cybersecurity, big data, fintech, proptech, health care and other sectors continue to grow, attract capital and talent and make incredible progress in their missions to solve our country’s biggest challenges.

For the 8th consecutive year, DCA Live and our partners are excited to recognize the 2023 Red Hot Companies, the Washington region's fastest growing and most exciting companies. We’ll be profiling these companies over the coming weeks and will celebrate them with a lively, fun event on the evening of Thursday, July 13 on the rooftop of Sands Capital in Rosslyn, VA.  

This is the biggest DCA Live event of the year and the biggest DC tech event (we believe) of the summer.
