Doug Anderson, Founder and President, DCA Live

Prior to founding DCA Live, Doug was the president of Bisnow Media, which was sold to the Wicks Group of Companies in 2016. At Bisnow, he contributed to the growth of the company from zero to more than $18m in annual revenue over an 8 year period and launched a number of enduring commercial real estate industry conferences.

Doug has more than 25 years of experience in media and events businesses including senior positions at Bloomberg BNA, Kennedy Information, AOL, and New River Media. Doug was a producer of the weekly PBS programs “Think Tank” and “Follow the Money” and the documentaries “The Stockholder Society” and “The First Measured Century,” among many others. Doug began his career as a researcher at the American Enterprise Institute.

Doug is the founder of GEN Z Connect, a career preparation business. He is a past member of the board of trustees at St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School and a past vice chair of the board of Calvary Women's Services. An Alexandria, Virginia native, Doug is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and has an MBA from Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business. Doug and his family live in Washington, DC.

In 2023, Doug was a named a Tech Titan by Washingtonian Magazine.
