Best thing about being based in DC region: The Washington area is home to so many talented professionals, many of whom are motivated by Aledade's mission to empower independent physicians and transform healthcare. Being in the DC area allows us to recruit phenomenal talent who make up our team, whether we need to recruit a new healthcare specialist, tech expert, business strategist, or policy wonk.
Most challenging thing about being based in DC region: We were most recently recognized as one of the Washington Post’s 2018 Top Workplaces. One aspect of what makes our company culture so great is our frequent “walk-and-talk” meetings along nearby paths and trails. Keeping up those walk in the DC humidity can work up quite the midday sweat.
In 2018-2019 what do you need to do to stay Red Hot? We are continuing to focus on spreading our unique, new model of primary care to more doctors, patients, and communities across the country. We recently announced our plans to grow in the Philadelphia area, North Carolina, and Georgia, and we're looking forward to partnering with leading physicians in those areas to deliver value-based care.

Best thing about being based in DC region: Proximity to DC and the unique challenges that face the federal government. It is an industry that is lagging behind in technology, but has great potential to catapult to where it needs to be.
Most challenging thing about being based in DC region: For a startup, there isn’t a huge culture of “innovation” like in Silicon Valley. It is hard to run into other founders who are slugging it out and share stories.
In 2018-2019 what do you need to do to stay Red Hot? Continuing to deliver for our customers is what it will take for us. Our focus is on enabling missions and the only way to achieve that is obsessing over their success.
